GP Earnings.

All GP practices are required to declare the mean net earnings (eg. Average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. This is required in the interests of the greater public accountability recognising GP pay is ultimately funded from tax paid by the public.

The mean earnings for GPs working at Great Witley Surgery in the financial year ended 31 March 2017 was £67,971 before the deduction of employee's superannuation contributions, tax and national insurance.

This is the average pay for 3 full time GPs and 3 part time GPs who worked in the Practice for more than six months during the year.
