If you are concerned that you may have coronavirus or may have come into contact with someone who has, the NHS 111 online service has created Coronavirus pages that tell patients what they should do. This can be accessed at

Anyone with a new persistent cough and/or fever should self-isolate for 7 days; do not call 111 or contact other healthcare providers.

If symptoms deteriorate and you feel you need medical care, you should contact NHS 111.

If you are concerned that you may have Coronavirus please DO NOT enter the Practice.

Great Witley, Knightwick & Tenbury surgeries are working together as The Rurals Primary Care Network, to provide the best possible care to all our patients during the Coronavirus outbreak.

In order to enable us to stay open, keep both our staff and patients safe and to continue to provide a service to our patients, we are now only doing telephone appointments.
If you do need medical advice from one of our doctors, please call the surgery on 01299 896788.

The Great Witley team will triage and assess you and if they feel they need to see you, you will be advised of the arrangements for this to take place.

When collecting prescriptions please come to the window which is clearly marked and ring the bell, one of our members of staff will then get your medication for you.

If you do pay for medication we would ask that you pay by card if possible, however we will still take cash payments if needed.

If you do not wish to get out of your car, please call the surgery on 01299 896788 to tell us you are here to collect your medication and one of our members of staff will bring your prescription out to you.

Thank you for your co-operation during this time.

Changes to Worcestershire's Prescribing Policies

The Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Worcestershire, who are responsible for healthcare investment, consulted with the public to identify areas to prioritise for continued investment. Following further public engagement last year, the CCGs have determined that they no longer support prescribing of some "Over the Counter" medicines" on the NHS

What is the Friends and Family Test?

The NHS want you to have the best possible experience of care. The NHS Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so services can continually be reviewed.

How does it work?

This Test is based on one question:

“How likely are you to recommend our GP practice to friends and family if they need similar care or treatment?”

It is really helpful if you provide a reason as to why you gave your answer.

Comments can be provided anonymously and any details you do provide will not be passed on.

What happens to the results?

The results are collated monthly and all responses are reviewed individually to follow up on any comments that may need further attention. The results of the rating will then be published on our website. NHS choices will also be publishing the results for all surgeries.

How can I take part?

Your comments will help us to learn more about what you think of your experience and areas you feel we could improve upon.
