The dispensary team are responsible for dispensing the medication which the doctors prescribe to you during surgery. In addition they prepare all repeat prescriptions when these are submitted to them.
Repeat Prescriptions can be ordered in the following ways:
- In person at Great Witley or Martley surgeries
- By telephone on 01299 890056 10.00am—13.00pm
- By emailing sowoccg.GreatWitleyRptPrescriptions@nhs.net, quoting the following:
- Patient name & address
- Date of birth
- Items Required (name, strength)
- Contact number in the event of any queries
- By post
- By fax on 01299 896 873 (Marked for the attention of dispensary)
Although patients are free to choose the above option, the safest method of ordering repeat medication is to register with our new secure online service (Ask at reception for your log in details, then click on the 'Online Ordering' tab above and follow the instructions)
Depending upon your medication we may be able to arrange for your repeat order to run "Automatically" on a pre-determined week each month - please ask the Dispensary if you would be eligible for this service.

Medication can be collected from the dispensary from 08:30 until 18:30.
In addition to being able to collect your repeat medication from the surgery in Great Witley, we also offer a delivery service to collection points at Martley surgery or Clifton on Teme stores, please advise us when you order your medication if you would like it taken to either of these places. In addition you may like to use our home delivery service which is available to patients that may be housebound and on regular medication. The delivery takes place once a month on a Friday and patients are required to be at home in order to accept delivery of their medication, You need to register for this service so please ask at Dispensary for more details.
